" BARE FEET "
" BARE FEET "
“BARE FEET” is inspired by David Hockney’s classic round spectacles. Reinterpreted as sunglasses and rendererd in a deep brown buffalo horn with lusciously rich mud brown lenses, as a stout-hearted nod to the fertile hills of the artists’ Yorkshire homeland.
We called these “BARE FEET” because the frame aims to inspire you to love nature as you love life. We invite the wearer to remove your shoes and socks when wearing these sunglasses, and please walk outside and squelch around a garden on a plesantly due laden summer’s morning, preferably in Yorkshire so the ground is suitably damp. If you avoid the rogue thistles successfully we guarantee that you will feel thoroughly more artistic than is usual.
“BARE FEET” : was hand sculpted with both irreverence and great skill transforming a once raw and earthy material into something truly beautiful.
We genuinely thank you for taking interest in our work - and hope you will enjoy these as much as we did creating them.
